Chapter 01
Why steel wall
At Goodlin we specialize in Steel Wall Vinyl Liner Pools. A steel wall holds its shape under the weight of the water and the soil around it, and the vinyl liner over it gives you a smooth, comfortable surface and a choice of patterns. Your options are endless, and that starts with how the pool is shaped.
Because the walls are built from panels rather than poured in one piece, the design can bend to the yard instead of the other way around. If you can dream it, we can build it. Start with the size of the space, the slope of the lot and how many people you picture in the water at once.

Steps, benches and sun ledges
The customizable vinyl covered steel stairs offer real strength and durability, and uninterrupted beauty to your pool structure. There are no seams to catch a foot and no separate stair unit to look bolted on, because the stairs wear the same liner as the walls and the floor.
Goodlin can design any combination of steps, benches and sun ledges to complement the shape of your pool. A wide entry for small kids, a bench to sit on with a cold drink, a shallow ledge for lounging in the sun: they all give you a comfortable, functional place to relax in your backyard retreat.
Chapter 03
Durable and beautiful
Durable and beautiful is how we sum up the build, and it is the right test for any pool. It has to take years of sun, chemistry and a winter cover without losing its shape, and it still has to look like the place you want to be on a June afternoon.
Layout + Excavation is where the pool begins, and the walls and the liner follow from it. Read how the whole job runs on the inground pools page, then choose your liner pattern, your cover and your equipment so the finished pool is the one you pictured at the start.
“Amazing job by Bob and crew. Best in the business. Owner on site and amazing customer service.” Martin Zimmel, Google review.
