Chapter 01
When a liner is done
A vinyl liner does not fail all at once. It fades, it stretches, it wrinkles along the walls, and eventually the pattern wears thin where the sun and the chemistry have worked on it hardest. Those are the usual signs that Liner Replacements belong on this year's list instead of next year's.
If you find water loss you cannot explain, do the bucket test before you assume the liner is the cause. We walk customers through it on the water chemistry page, and the answer tells you whether you need a new liner or a different repair.

Designer patterns for any backyard
We offer a variety of designer patterns to suit any backyard and your style. A liner sets the color of the water and the mood of the whole yard, so it is worth looking at several patterns against your deck, your coping and the trees and fencing around the pool before you pick one.

Chapter 03
Measuring and replacing
A replacement liner is made to the size and shape of the pool it goes into, so the measurements matter as much as the pattern. Bring your questions to Goodlin before you order anything, and ask what the pool needs, what the new liner will look like in your water and when the work can be scheduled.
Once the new liner is in and the pool is full, the care that keeps it looking good is mostly water balance. Goodlin tests water in a Lamotte spin lab in the store, so a sample from your own pool can tell you where the chemistry stands before problems start showing on the liner.
